Information we collect

The information we process depends on the services a business enables. It may include:

  • Business profile information, store settings, menus, products, prices, and inventory data.
  • Order information such as purchased items, order totals, timestamps, fulfilment status, and payment status.
  • Customer information needed to fulfil orders, such as name, phone number, delivery or pickup details, notes, and loyalty activity.
  • Integration information from services such as delivery marketplaces, payment providers, printers, and operational tools.
  • Technical information such as device identifiers, logs, IP addresses, authentication activity, and diagnostic events.

How we use information

We use information to operate and improve Nexara services, process and sync orders, support point of sale workflows, connect enabled third-party integrations, provide customer support, protect service security, maintain audit records, and comply with legal obligations.

Uber Eats and marketplace integrations

When a business connects Uber Eats or another delivery marketplace, Nexara may receive marketplace order details, customer contact details, item selections, delivery or pickup instructions, store identifiers, and order status updates. Nexara uses this information to create and manage local POS orders, route kitchen or fulfilment workflows, update order status, support troubleshooting, and keep marketplace records consistent with the merchant's store.

Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers and integration partners only as needed to deliver the services a business has enabled, such as payment processing, hosting, delivery marketplace connectivity, messaging, analytics, support, or legal compliance.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, support business records, maintain security, meet accounting or legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Businesses may request deletion or export of applicable information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we design Nexara services to limit access, protect credentials, monitor operational activity, and reduce unnecessary data exposure.

Your choices

Customers should contact the business they ordered from to access, correct, or delete order-related information. Businesses using Nexara may contact us for account, integration, or data management requests.
